Polytechnic, Raibag Arranged an industrial visit for the
final year students of E&E and ME branch students to the
Bhoruka wind power plant located at Bastawad which has
29 working wind turbines each of 3.5MW capacity and to
the 2MW solar power plant of Karnataka renewable energy
development ltd located at Itnal. The main objective
behind the visit was to make the students aware about
the latest technologies used in industries and
importance of renewable energy sources in today’s
scenario to reduce the world’s dependence on
non-renewable resources.
