For Karnataka State Candidates: Pass
in SSLC with 35 Marks in Science & 35 Marks in
Mathematics. For out of State Candidates: Pass in SSLC/10th or
Equivalent examination with 40 Marks in Science & 40
Marks in Mathematics, obtain eligibility certificate
from The Directorate of Technical Education, Government
of Karnataka Bangalore.
Commencement of the Semester:
The
Directorate of Technical Education, Government of
Karnataka Bangalore every year issues the calendar of
events. According to which the activities entire
academic year are conducted. Normally the 1st, 3rd and
5th semester (odd semester) classes start from the month
of June/July and the 2nd ,4th and 6th semester (Even
semester) classes start from the month of December.
Scheme of Study:
As per new
syllabus for first year each semester has 03 Theory
subjects and 03 Laboratories and for 2nd & 3rd year each
semester has 04 Theory subjects and 03 Laboratories. The
Board of Technical Examinations, Bangalore prescribes
the syllabus for each subject.
Internal Assessment Tests
Three
tests for theory subjects and two tests for laboratories
conducted by the institution during every semester,
which is conducted as per Board Exams.
